This page explains how teachers using the Altius Teacher Corner Android app
(com.ispf.altius.teachercorner) can request deletion of their account and the data
associated with it.
How to request deletion
Email tech@thinktac.com
from the email address or with the phone number registered in the app, using the subject "Altius Teacher Corner data deletion request".
Please include the phone number you use to sign in, so we can locate your account. We may ask you to confirm the request from that number before we act on it.
What data is deleted
- Your teacher profile record: name, phone number, email address if you provided one, school or institution, and your classroom associations.
- Your uploaded activity evidence, including any photographs you attached.
- Your in-app notifications, activity ratings and activity-completion records.
- Your authentication account for the app, and the push-notification token registered to your device.
What may be retained
- Aggregated, de-identified usage analytics that cannot be linked back to you.
- Records that ISPF or its programme partners are required to keep for legal or programme-reporting obligations, for the minimum period required.
- Classroom and learner progress records already reported to programme administrators, retained in aggregate or anonymised form.
Timeline
Deleting some of your data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to have data removed. Using the same email address and subject line above, you can ask us to delete specific data while your account stays active. For example:
- photographs you uploaded as activity evidence, individually or all of them;
- a particular activity record, rating or reflection you entered;
- your email address, where you provided one, while keeping phone-number sign-in.
Tell us in the email which data you want removed. Partial deletion requests are actioned on the same 30 day timeline as full account deletion.
You can also ask us to correct data that is wrong, or to withdraw your consent to programme communications (push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram and email) while keeping your account and your records.
